LOS ANGELES — July 3, 2025 — Codective, a Los Angeles–based developer of autonomous systems, today announced that its Codective One Autonomous Visual Navigation & Target Guidance Kit has received formal approval for procurement in Ukraine and meets NATO interoperability and airworthiness standards. This endorsement clears the way for rapid fielding of a plug-and-play solution that delivers GPS-independent navigation plus precision last-mile target engagement in contested or GNSS-denied environments.
“Modern conflict demands drones that can navigate—and strike—with zero reliance on vulnerable satellite links,” said Anton Gera, CEO of Codective. “Codective One’s global-to-local visual matching engine maintains continuous positional awareness, while its target-guidance module locks onto and tracks threats with centimeter-level accuracy—completely immune to jamming or spoofing.”
Technical Highlights
Global-to-Local Visual Matching
Onboard high-resolution cameras stitch live panoramas of terrain beneath the UAV. A proprietary astrometric AI correlates these panoramas against preloaded orthophoto maps—regardless of map age or environmental change—ensuring robust localization where SLAM and inertial systems falter.
Last-Mile Target Guidance
Advanced image-tracking and predictive-lead algorithms maintain engagement on moving or static targets throughout the terminal phase.
Offline, Edge-Compute Architecture
Fully self-contained on lightweight processors (e.g., Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone), requiring no cloud, no external compute—ideal for denied or embargoed airspace.
Hardware-Agnostic Form Factor
Standard MAVLink and MIL-STD-1553 interfaces allow installation on virtually any fixed-wing or rotary-wing platform without airframe redesign.
Multi-Sensor Fusion (Inertial & Optical Flow)
A high-precision inertial measurement unit works in tandem with optical flow sensors to continuously refine velocity and attitude estimates. By fusing IMU data with optical-flow–derived motion cues, Codective One virtually eliminates positional drift—delivering sub-meter accuracy even in low-texture or high-dynamics flight conditions.
Proven Track Record & Recognition
MassChallenge Global Finalist — Recognized among the world’s leading early-stage deep-tech startups.
U.S. Government Contracts — Already engaged under contract to develop autonomy solutions for multiple defense agencies.
Next Steps
The first Codective One kits will ship to Ukrainian Armed Forces units and domestic defense integrators in Q3 2025, supporting reconnaissance, precision-strike coordination, and resilient logistics. Live demonstrations are scheduled at upcoming defense exhibitions in Kyiv and Warsaw.
“With NATO-grade compliance and battlefield-proven performance, Codective One redefines autonomy in denied environments,” added Oleg Zaichuk, CTO of Codective. “We’re proud to equip our allies with the capabilities they need to maintain freedom of maneuver—no matter the threat.”
